Driver Trainer Opportunities

When you have hundreds of Drivers out on the road every day, it’s crucial that each one is more than up to scratch. What this means is having the right accreditations, an eye on fuel efficiency and of course, excellent driving skills.

Our Driver Trainers are behind the wheel of all that. For new Drivers, that might mean moulding good driving behaviours from the start, and for more experienced Drivers, it could be looking at better ways to deliver promises. Either way, you’ll enjoy the autonomy to shape your own days, and know you’re helping Drivers to be the best they can be.

  • The Role

    Based at one site with another Driver Trainer, you’ll assess, train and support newly qualified Drivers to make sure they work as efficiently as possible.

  • New Tech

    We’ve just brought in invaluable software, Microlise, that helps our Driver Trainers to track Drivers’ styles and offer suggestions to improve them – for example, ways of improving fuel economy to reduce the impact on the environment.

  • Skills & Experience

    You might be a Driver Trainer already, or a current Driver who’s looking for a new direction and the chance to pass on your skills to the next generation of Drivers. Either way, you’ll need to be Class 1 qualified and a DCPC holder.
